Barrel & Grande Reserve

Wines that result from a dynamic of the vintage, the coincidence or the peculiarity of a vintage. Grande Reserve wines: therefore, we are working with special premium qualities, matured longer on the lees, just vinified in the best vintages as 2017, 2019 and 2021.

The barrel editions are showing the Bourgogne-style of a Grüner Veltliner. This special blend is always made out of premium Kamptal Grüner Veltliner grapes fermented in 300L used and new oak. The best single barrel is the name-giving barrel.

Waldschütz Brut Prestige and Waldschütz Grande Cuvée Rosé 4x5 are products created with the spirit of the times. This elegant line started with the 2018 vintage, which inspired a clear rosé trend. It’s best to ask for further information via wein@waldschuetz.at

Terrassen

Most of the family-owned vineyards are growing on south faced terraces in the two well-known areas Wagram and Kamptal. As there are always younger vines which have to be harvested earlier, there will always be a very good selection for fresh, fruity, light, yet fruity and delicious wines out of these regions.

Since these younger vines are unique in taste, they should also be distinctively sold on the market. Therefore, we have created the line "Terraces".

Tradition

Tradition – this is a tribute to our previous generations. Honored by the family crest on the label. Here we are trying to make a typical Austrian wine with traditional values. The traditional way of working is based on the grape qualities according to ripeness and sugar levels, regardless of origin. These wines are produced mainly by Anton Waldschütz, the senior chief of the Waldschütz winery and winemaker in 5th generation, with great attention to detail. The knowledge of previous generations is always passed on to the next generation.

The own brand created together with one of the longest partners for wine export at the winery Waldschütz. Each year, a premium selection of wines that represent the typical Austrian flavours will be chosen by an annual tasting with the winemaker Ralph Waldschütz and a purchase tasting team.
